Drum roll, please… We have a new name and a new logo! We are now the Safer Roads Alliance, and we have a new look to prove it. We hope you like our new logo. To be budget-conscious, we’ll be phasing our new brand into our marketing collateral and website throughout the first half of 2022.
We’re excited about our new name because it reflects something even bigger: our newly expanded mandate. While we remain committed to Highways 40, 43, 63 and 881, we want to help reduce road fatalities and injuries across all of Alberta and western Canada, and this rebrand represents this broadened scope.
Regions in northeast BC and Saskatchewan have been reaching out to the ‘Alliance’ as potential partners because they too want to reduce the devastation that road incidents cause in their communities. Our new name will better position us to support communities throughout Alberta and western Canada, and give us the opportunity to freshen up our look and feel – which is a great way to start the new year.
So stay tuned! There’s more to come from the Alliance in the coming weeks and months. In the meantime, if you or your community are interested in joining the Alliance – please contact Debbie Hammond.
